April on the farm & May Beef Preorders

April has been a fun and busy month around here.

We celebrated two birthdays this month and took time to rejoice with friends and family for Jesus had Risen ! What a blessing we have been given ❤️

This month I started my YouTube back up. I’m trying to get into a groove and look forward to sharing farm happenings with everyone. https://bit.ly/BrinkerfamilyfarmYouTube

April was cooler than last year, so all the tulips were behind, but the daffodils were gorgeous much of the month. We did have a few wonderful tulip bouquets just in time for Easter though.

I have started to preorder bulbs and corms that I will be offering for sale this fall. I’m excited to share these beautiful flowers with you all. I love fall planted flowers. They grow so well and offer so much beauty after a bland winter.

Meet Paprika, she was born April 23rd ❤️

The cows are patiently waiting for the grasses to grow enough to be let out. Once we move the cows, we will leave the calves so we can have them weaned. We will leave them in the winter pasture for about 2 weeks. After that we will join the calves with cows.

If you haven’t pre ordered yet, we still have a few shares available for Oct 2025 butchering. We will be closing preorder’s MAY 31ST! We currently have whole, 1/2 and 1/4 beef packages available.

You can order here

What’s Coming up?

As a thank you for ordering 1/4, 1/2 or 1 whole cow from us, I will be gifting you a bar of soap. Bo is also working on a project as well, more on that once it’s finalized.

GROUND BEEF FOR SALE!

During last week’s offering of ground beef we sold 60+ pounds of beef. We were so excited for those sales! Thank you!

The next offering will be Thursday, May 8th in Massillon 12-2pm, Friday, May 9th 4-7pm and Saturday, May 10th 10am-12pm. Fri and Sat will be at the farm, addresses will be emailed in your confirmation of order email. This will be Mother’s Day weekend and would make a great gift or item to have on hand for cooking out ❤️ https://brinkerfamilyfarm.com/product/quality-ground-beef/

Our goal for the beef we are raising for our family and yours is to offer Quality Beef right here in Ohio. We feel the best way we can do that is by rotationally grazing our cows. It’s giving the herd the best grasses we have. It’s also giving the land rest in between grazing, which will then produce healthier plants for the next time the cows come through.

We will be moving the herd lots over the next several months. I enjoyed moving them around last summer and look forward to the extra pasture we have to rotate them this year.

Beside moving cows, the girls will have fair prep activities, Matthew will be finishing school and graduating and Eliana has a May birthday that we will be celebrating 🎉.

On May 15th, I will be releasing a FREE downloadable recipe guide sharing some of our favorite melt and pour soap recipes, along with salve and bath salts recipes. Be on the lookout for it!

I look forward to sharing more with you all soon!

Don’t forget, this is a wonderful time to Grow Something Beautiful Friends.
