At Brinker Family Farm LLC, we are raising grass fed and non-gmo grain finished beef for families wanting high quality meat from local farmers. Our beef is grown on a pasture and hay diet. When we get to the final months of finishing our steers we will add non-gmo grain to the diet. By doing this we can get the marbling and texture most people know and love for your steaks, burgers, and roasts. Every steer is raised on our farm without the use of hormones.
Our cows are raised on pasture until the final 3-4 months. At that point we separate them and add the non-gmo beef feed to their diet, once a day.

If someone is interested in grass fed and finished cow, the timeline may take a little longer to get them to butchering size. We will leave the cow (s) on pasture with the rest of our herd until it is time to load and take to the butchering facility.
I have included information on ordering 1 whole beef cow, finished with non-gmo beef feed.
The price per pound and processing fees will the the same rate for 1/2 cow. If you choose to order 1/4 a cow the price per pound is the same as a whole or 1/2 cow, HOWEVER, the price per pound processing fee is 0.85 /per pound ( a 0.10 / per pound increase). The price per pound owed for the cow will still be $4.25/lb.
Our 2026 butchering dates are April 16th, April 28th and September 29th. You will be able to pick your choice date when adding whichever size you would like to pre order.
*Final price will be calculated by hanging weight.
Price does not include processing/cut & wrap fee.
Processing will be done at Don’s Custom Meats. Buyer will call Don’s Custom Meats to give a cut order.
This cost will be an added cost in addition to your bill for the cow.
You will pay remainder of bill for the cow before pickup to Brinker Family Farm LLC.
You will pay $4.25 per pound for 1 whole beef to Brinker Family Farm LLC after the cow is butchered and we have a final weight. We will take the deposit off that final total. We will send you a bill with the final cost

Pickup will be arranged from Don’s Custom Meats . They will call you when the processing is finished and ready for pickup.
You will pay Don’s Custom Meats for the processing fees at time of pickup.
Buyer is in charge of calling in cut sheet prior to butcher date selected (April 16th, April 28th or September 29th 2026).

Fees for Butchering at Don’s Custom Meats
Dressing Charge: $120/whole, $60/ half, $30/ Quarter
Cut, Wrap, & Freeze:Whole/Half Beef: 75¢/lb (dressed/hanging wt)
Quarter Beef (Split halves/Strips & Filets): 85¢/lb (dressed/hanging wt);
Deboning all Steaks: 85¢/lb (dressed/hanging wt)
Hamburg Patties: 50¢/lb
The estimated hanging weight for 1 whole beef is between 700 and 775 lbs. You will receive around 600 pounds of beef for 1 whole cow.
Remember these are estimates.

The estimated price will be between $ 2,975 and $ 3293.75 plus processing fees (0.75/pound). Today you will deposit $600.00.
You will be able to fill your freezer with steaks, roasts, ground beef, meat for stew and specialty cuts like brisket.
You can also order 1/4, 1/2 or 1 whole cow all in hamburger if that’s how you would like to.
Orders are typically ready for pickup 14-28 days after initial processing date. Don’s Custom Meats will notify you when your order is ready for pickup.
We will reopen in Winter 2026 for 2027 butchering.
