Description
* 1 whole beef preorders for cows sent to butcher April 16th, April 28th and September 29th 2026. I will notify you of exact drop off date.
*$600 is a deposit, NOT a final price*
*Price will be calculated by hanging weight.
Our cows are raised on pasture until the final 3-4 months. At that point we separate them and add non-gmo beef feed to their diet, once a day.

Price does not include processing/cut & wrap fee. Processing will be done at Don’s Custom Meats. Buyer will call Don’s Custom Meats to give a cut order.
This cost will be an added cost in addition to your bill for the cow. You will pay remainder of bill for the cow before pickup.
You will pay $4.25 per pound for 1 whole beef to Brinker Family Farm LLC after the cow is butchered and we have a final weight. We will take the deposit off that final total.
Pickup will be arranged from Don’s Custom Meats .They will call you when the processing is finished and ready for pickup. You will pay Don’s Custom Meats for the processing fees at time of pickup.
Buyer is in charge of calling in cut sheet prior to butcher date (April 16th,April 28th or September 29th 2026).

Fees for Butchering at Don’s Custom Meats
Dressing Charge: $120/whole, $60/ half, $30/ quarter
Cut, Wrap, & Freeze:
Whole/Half Beef: 75¢/lb (dressed/hanging wt)
Quarter Beef (Split halves/Strips & Filets): 85¢/lb (dressed/hanging wt);
Deboning all Steaks: 85¢/lb (dressed/hanging wt)
Hamburg Patties: 50¢/lb
The estimated hanging weight for 1 whole beef is between 700 and 775 lbs. You will receive around 400 pounds of beef for 1 whole cow.
Remember these are estimates.
The estimated price will be between $ 2,975 and $ 3,293.75 plus processing fees (0.75/pound).
Today you will pay a deposit of $600.00 to reserve a cow for April 2026 butchering.
You will be able to fill your freezer with steaks, roasts, ground beef, meat for stew and specialty cuts like brisket.
Orders are typically ready for pickup 14-28 days after initial processing date. You will be notified when your order is ready for pickup.
