Simple Ingredients for Awesome Health Products

Hello Friends!

Happy Thanksgiving week! I’m so excited to be eating a turkey we GREW this year. Bo and I was talking and he will be smoking it and I can’t wait to eat it!

This past weekend Eliza, Marshall and I attended our first craft show. I had some items I have listed on the website and I had some new items that will be on the website this week!

(Stick with me to the end for the discount code!)

The new items was Bath Salts (herbal, lavender and peppermint), ChapStick in little containers (unscented, vanilla and peppermint) and I also had soaps (lavender, french clay and lemongrass, apple pie spice and calendula, honey and oats).

I really enjoyed making these, they were so much easier then the pumpkin rolls I am making for people this time of year!

I wanted to have a place to point people with an explanation of what the ingredients I use in these products are good for. So here it is 🙂

When making these I am trying to pick the best quality I can, and to use the fewest ingredients I can. One thing to keep in mind about the soaps is that I am using a melt and pour base. I recently found a lady that makes her base with just the basic ingredients (no extra fillers) and will be getting in contact with her about getting some.

At this time making soap completely from scratch seems like something I need to hold off with. I hope to give it a try sometime this winter , but feel good about being able to offer some soap with a good melt and pour base.
